Time, the Elusive Creature of the Universe

One of the most difficult things for me in attempting to do all things creative, like my art (www.tgarsenault.com), writing, and of course, voiceover, is finding the time to do everything I want and need to do.

Having a full-time drive aside from these, makes it very difficult. I really want the time to work on my website, write these blogs, audition, audition, and audition for VO jobs, while continuing to work on the audiobooks I have in queue (currently three) and other voiceover jobs I receive. Oh…and be a father and husband and all things required of each.

Eeek!

But somehow, I manage, one baby step in front of the other. Exhausting at times, its sometimes hard to fit everything in, but if I'm able to at least do ONE thing based on priority, I consider it a success. It’s one step forward and one step closer to where I need to be.

I will soon be taking the leap and retiring from the corporate world to pursue all things creative! While a bit scary, I am thankful to have a supporting wife and family, who know and understand my artistic passion. Being a stay-at-home dad, and full-time artist, voice over artist, and writer sounds pretty darn good to me; something I have been dreaming about for a long time!
